In promoting his new movie Good Deeds, Tyler Perry talks about how simplicity has contributed to his success. I am not going to lie, I am pretty excited to see this movie on Saturday!! Are you making things simple enough?
I had the opportunity to meet Dani and Alex at an event that the New York Women in Film and Television had in 2010 and I was really impressed by the work that their company, Big Vision Empty Wallet, created. Since meeting them, I have watched their company grow to became a great resource for people within the film community. Check out their journey from college students to business owners in this edition of Dream Chasers!
Lately I have been reading a great deal of articles and devotionals about dreams. Texts about expressing your dreams and not only believing in yourself, but also making others believe in your dreams as well; very meaningful advice.
The one thing that stuck out from all of my reading was this:
“Most of us are looking for a calling, not a job. Most of us…have jobs that are too small for our spirit.” When a dream is truly great, it benefits everyone. Your job is to help people see what those benefits are…People see before and after pictures, and they want the ‘after.’ But if you live your dream, practice integrity, and achieve a degree of success, people will see what the dream has done for you and that will make them want it too…When that happens, your dream becomes bigger than you or your team.”
Our callings are much bigger than we think. It’s our job to make others see how high our dreams place on the scale.

We would like to thank Michele so much for sharing her journey with us. I know after speaking to her I definitely felt a lot better about the road that I am currently on, and the interview also confirmed for me that things ultimately work out for good. We all know that I am a planner and that I like to know what is going on, it is one of the things I have been working on, and I think I have gotten a little better at embracing life as it happens, but I still have a long way to go. I hope you guys enjoyed the interview and we look forward to your feedback!
