Weekly Poll: Were You Impressed by the 2012 Grammy?

Weekly Poll

I am not usually a fan of the Grammy, but I watched this year because I wanted to see the Whitney Houston tribute. I did think the show felt super long, but  overall I enjoyed it. I am not going to lie, the Nikki Manaj performance had me clutching my pearls and in a state of confusion, but overall I think everyone did a great job considering that they were all probably still in shock about the death of Whitney Houston. I am surprised Jennifer Hudson was able to get through her performance without having a complete breakdown! But it’s your opinion that matters, so speak on it!

With Valentines Day right around the corner, there is a lot of talk about love and marriage. I saw a really interesting debate on Twitter about how the meaning of marriage has changed with our generation, which led to this weeks poll question. I think that what we expect from marriage has changed over the years, but I do think that most people take marriage seriously.

Weekly Poll: Is Cheating a Deal Breaker for You in a Relationship?

Like we talked about yesterday, things are changing with our generation. Things that were considered taboo, or not OK, when our parents were dating have now  seemed to taken on new meaning. One of those things being cheating. I have heard so many of my female friends say they believe that all men cheat, and for them infidelity would not mean the end of their relationships. On the other end of the spectrum, I have heard a lot of my guy friends say that if their significant other cheated, they are not sure they would be able to look at her the same, or continue the relationship. So speak it!

Weekly Poll: Does Age Matter in a Relationship?

Weekly Poll

There are times where you hear people refer to someone as an “old soul” or as an “old fool” which leads me to think that it’s not really how old a person is, but how much life experience a person has that determines the success in a relationship. With that being said, I most certainly could not see myself dating someone 8 years younger than me, at least not right now! I would say I am on the fence on this one, so I need you to speak on it!

Weekly Poll: The results are in and you want MORE money!!!

In this weeks poll, we asked how many of you felt that you were underpaid and overwhelming 75% of you said you did! We wanted to see how we rated with the rest of America, and according to a Gallup poll, in 2010 45% of US workers thought that they are underpaid. Although that is still a pretty high percentage, it is an improvement over the 51% who felt underpaid in 2008. I think part of it is our age group, most of us are in the beginning stages of our careers, where the work seems abundant but the salaries seem small, but there is hope! Check out the video below for a few suggestions on how you can get a raise, even in a recession!
