Listen to your body!

As I sit on my couch sipping tea, smelling like Vicks, I can’t help but laugh at writing this post. Apparently, I like to learn things the hard way, but hey my lessons hopefully help you make better choices. Typically when people have things that they are focused on, it tends to be all consuming. For example, during 2nd semester of senior year, if you do not already have a job secured, you tend to spend the majority of your time thinking about finding a job, submitting resumes to potential employers to get a job, and talking to anyone who will listen about how badly you need to find a job.  The same can be said for recent graduates. We all tend to become obsessed with the one thing we want the most in the moment, without much room for other “less important” stuff (I know it’s not just me, lol).  We feel we can neglect certain things because we are young, full of energy and feel like we can do it all. We got this…apparently not so much, ha!
