Midnight Snack: “She/He Ain’t Got no Money in the Bank”

After I got out of college and decided to step my game up from Ramen noodles, to turkey sandwiches, I started to reach out to people to get suggestions on where to start in terms of getting my finances together. I am not a numbers person at all. My idea of balancing my check book was looking online at my savings and checking accounts and making sure there was still money there. Yea, I know it’s a sophisticated system. I should really research getting a patent on it.  In all seriousness though, I was a hot mess. People would recommend all kinds of books to me.  Within the first couple of pages, however, I would become so overwhelmed with the terminology and confused by the concepts that I kind of gave up. Then one of my really good friends recommended a book that really helped begin my journey to what I like to call “getting my money right”. The book is How to Invest 50-5000 Dollars by Nancy Dunnan.
