Whose House…Mom’s House!

The decision to move out or move back home post graduation is one that everyone struggles with. On the one hand, there is the free laundry, the home cooked meals, and the comfort of being in the home where you grew up. On the other hand, the “walk of shame” takes on a whole new meaning when you are walking to moms house as opposed to walking to your dorm room. Also,explaining to your parents, that no you are not an alcoholic, and a beer is in fact not a gateway drug to heroin addiction, gets really old really quick. Don’t laugh, it happens, trust me! 
So what are you to do? I personally moved back home for two months after graduation, and that was long enough for me to realize that it was time for me to go. Nothing against my parents, they are wonderfully supportive and loving, but I swear if I had to hear “what time did you get home last night?”one more time, there would have been a “situation”, I’m just sayin’.
