Oh E.I.N.
This post is brought to you by a lesson that I learn that I hope helps others avoid a semi expensive mistake. So the back story, I finally got my business to a place where I thought it would be smart to get it registered. I talked to some friends who had their own businesses to get recommendations on how I should incorporate, where I should incorporate, and if there were any suggestions on a company that I could use to help me with the paperwork. After a lot of discussion, I settled on a company and was very excited when in 7 days I had my documents of incorporation. I did my happy dance got really excited to go open my business bank account…and here is where it all starts to fall apart (sigh, lol)
