The first time I realized that one size really doesn’t fit all, I suffered a crashing blow to my otherwise demure ego. The shirt in question actually ripped up the side, and was left behind for the fitting room attendant, as I was too embarrassed to actually carry it out. I had a very similar experience when I realized that the same thing was happening in my social life.
Have you ever wondered how much influence a common goal can have on your relationships? For example, during those four euphoric years as college students, most of the thoughts that raced through our minds concerned our immediate goals: Make the deans list, become student body president, complete a study abroad, secure the ultimate summer internship, or if you were anything like me; make it to Thanksgiving break, make it to Winter break, make it to Summer break. But ultimately, our goal was to complete college, and our relationships were, well, easy! Graduation time, goal accomplished. But now what?
I am so excited to write this post because some things we have been working on are finally coming to life at But Now What. We have heard your requests and we are so happy that we can deliver what you want!
In addition to the already great content we have; Weekly career posts, Midnight Snacks, Video of the Week, and When I Grow Up, we are now going to have some more amazing fun posts for you. We are going to start with a weekly Fashion Spotlight by Williette. The spotlight will highlight great trends in fashion that can be obtained on an entry level salary. Up next, we will have a weekly Relationship Segment contributed by Shanda which will address everything from romantic relationships to friendships post college. Lastly, we will be changing our Video of the Week Segment will now be a commentary, by yours truly, on topics in the news and entertainment, and how it relates to recent graduates.
For our monthly sections, we will have a monthly Finance Section contributed by the owner of L.E.A.P. Consulting, Mrs. Miriam Hornbuckle that will address everything from credit cards, to student loans, to fraud. We will also have a monthly Advice Section by life coach and President of Oasis Life Resources, Michele Ashley. Our readers will have the opportunity to submit questions and have her answer them, talk about personalized service!
