Midnight Snack: Tuesday Night is Date Night
I remember being in college talking about the whack adults who were too cheap to pay full price to see a movie. Now that I have to decide if I should spend $10.25 on a movie ticket or on my laundry that has been sitting in the hamper for three weeks, I feel their pain. I have now become one of those adults who refuses to pay to go to the movies, unless my future husband(s): Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Idris Elba, or Common, is in it. Yes I have a lot of future husbands, don’t judge me!
Lucky for me, I discovered Triple Play. If you have cable, Internet, and a home telephone through the same service provider, the providers tend to give you perks to keep you loyal. I have Cablevision, and one of my perks is getting two free tickets to see any movie, on Tuesday nights, at Clearview Cinema. If you have all three services, check with your local provider and see what perks you can take advantage of that help you save money.
Remember: Get to the theater early because all the other financially conscious (broke) people use Tuesday nights as date night, and you don’t want to wait another week to see the movie, that everyone else saw last week.
